The 23rd Annual International Show & Sale is sponsored by National Association of Aladdin Lamp Collectors and is held in conjunction with their Gathering (convention) which begins July 30th. The lamp show is open exclusively to registrants from Noon to 3 P.M. on Friday, August 3rd.  The public is invited to visit the show on the dates and times above for a nominal door charge of $5 ($3 with coupon from local businesses, antique shops and malls).

Spectacular, rare and beautiful are the words that describe this unique and unusual show featuring antique lighting. Upon entering the doors to see the fantastic display of lights and color, collectors marvel at the beauty and workmanship of the lamps that were essential to illuminate our homes long ago. While most can only imagine homes lit by the warm glow of kerosene, lamp collectors are dedicated to use and preserve these nostalgic memories.

There will be antique lamps of all kinds for sale, including rare early and primitive lighting, prized colored pattern oil lamps, Gone-With-The-Wind, art glass lamps, opalescent lamps, miniature lamps, student lamps, finger lamps, hanging fixtures, floor lamps, as well as the collectible early electric lamps. Lamp shades and parts for restoring old lamps will also be available. Lamps made from the 1860s to the 1930s may seem plentiful in dealer's booths but where else will you find them?

Several lamp collecting clubs will have educational booths in the show to answer questions about their specialty in lighting and lamp restoration:

Rushlight Club:
      Don Schoenlhy, IL
Historic Lighting Society of Canada:
      David Broughton, ON
Guild Lamp Researchers:
